Chez Piggy is one of the restaurants that contributed to the creation of Kingston’s food scene that we know today. In 1979, Rose Richardson and Zal Yanovsky transformed an abandoned limestone stable from 1808 into a romantic setting.
Made from only fresh and local produce, the menu is inspired by world travels, drawing from French, Spanish and Mediterranean influences, with extensive lunch and dinner options and an incredible selection of wines and craft beers. Tucked away in the heart of downtown Kingston, “The Pig” as it is affectionately known, is the perfect choice for afternoon cocktails on the courtyard patio.
The restaurant isn’t only famous for their food, but also for the atmosphere of family and community. The founders’ desire was always one: to create a place where people could come together, share great food, and make memories. And if you’ve been to Chez Piggy, you can tell they’ve achieved that.
